Getting Started
What is CardFi?
CardFi is a fintech platform that lets you convert USDT (a stablecoin) into a virtual Visa/Mastercard debit card. You can use it to pay for anything, anywhere in the world that accepts card payments.
How do I create an account?
Visit cardfi.online/auth.html, click "Create Account", enter your name, email, phone, and password. Verify your email with an OTP code, set a 6-digit PIN, and save your 12-word recovery phrase. That's it!
Is CardFi free to sign up?
Yes, account creation and virtual card issuance are completely free. We only charge a flat 1% fee on card transactions. See our Fees page for the full breakdown.
Which countries are supported?
CardFi is available in 180+ countries. Some jurisdictions where cryptocurrency is restricted or banned may not be supported. See our Supported Countries page for the full list.
Deposits & Funding
How do I deposit funds?
Go to your Dashboard, tap "Deposit", and send USDT (TRC-20 network only) to your unique CardFi wallet address. The deposit is confirmed automatically after blockchain verification, typically within 1–3 minutes.
Which cryptocurrencies can I deposit?
Currently, CardFi accepts USDT on the TRON network (TRC-20). Do NOT send any other cryptocurrency or use any other network — funds sent to the wrong network cannot be recovered.
How long do deposits take?
USDT TRC-20 deposits are typically confirmed within 1–5 minutes after the transaction receives sufficient blockchain confirmations. During network congestion, it may take longer.
Is there a minimum deposit?
The minimum deposit is 100 USDT. Deposits below this amount may not be credited to your account.
Virtual Card
Where can I use my CardFi card?
Your CardFi virtual card works at any online merchant, subscription service, or in-store terminal that accepts Visa or Mastercard payments — that's over 100 million locations worldwide.
Can I use the card at ATMs?
No, ATM withdrawals are not supported at the moment. This feature is coming soon.
How do I see my card details (CVV)?
In your Dashboard, go to the Card section and tap "Reveal CVV". The CVV is displayed for 30 seconds for security. You'll need to authenticate to view it.
Can I freeze my card?
Yes. From the Card page in your dashboard, you can instantly freeze or unfreeze your card. A frozen card blocks all new transactions while keeping your balance safe.
Security & Account
What if I forget my PIN?
On the PIN entry screen, tap "Reset PIN". You can reset your PIN by verifying your email OTP and then setting a new PIN.
What if I lose my recovery phrase?
Your recovery phrase is shown only once during signup. If you lose it, you can still access your account with your email and password. However, if you lose BOTH your password and recovery phrase, account recovery may not be possible. Always store your phrase securely offline.
I think my account has been hacked. What do I do?
Contact us immediately at support@cardfi.online with the subject "URGENT: Account Compromise". Freeze your card from the dashboard if you still have access. Our security team will investigate within 4 hours.
KYC & Compliance
Do I need to verify my identity?
Basic account creation requires email and phone verification. For higher transaction limits and full card access, identity verification (KYC) is required. This involves uploading a government ID and a selfie.
How long does KYC verification take?
Most KYC applications are reviewed within 1–3 business days. You'll receive an email notification when your verification is approved or if any action is needed.
