Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: March 2025 • Please read carefully before making any transactions
Due to the irreversible nature of cryptocurrency transactions and the real-time nature of virtual card issuance, refunds on CardFi are subject to strict conditions. Please review this policy thoroughly before depositing or making purchases.
1. Nature of Cryptocurrency Transactions
All deposits to CardFi are made in USDT (Tether) on the TRON network (TRC-20). By the nature of blockchain technology:
- Cryptocurrency transactions are irreversible once confirmed on the blockchain
- We cannot reverse or recall funds once they have been processed
- CardFi is not responsible for funds sent to an incorrect address
- Network fees (gas fees) are non-refundable under any circumstances
2. Eligible Refund Scenarios
CardFi will review refund requests only in the following limited circumstances:
- Duplicate deposit: You sent funds twice to the same address in error
- Platform technical error: A verified bug on our platform caused an incorrect balance or charge
- Unauthorised transaction: A transaction occurred without your authorisation and you reported it within 24 hours
- Account closure: You request account closure with a remaining positive balance (subject to verification)
⚠ Refunds are NOT available for: card transactions already processed by merchants, exchange rate losses, voluntary purchases, transactions flagged or frozen due to KYC/AML compliance, or funds lost due to user error (wrong address, wrong network, etc.).
3. Refund Request Process
- Submit a request to support@cardfi.online within 48 hours of the transaction
- Include your registered email, transaction ID/hash, and a detailed description
- Our team will review within 5–10 business days
- If approved, refunds are issued in USDT to your CardFi wallet or your original deposit address
- A processing fee of up to 2% may apply to approved refunds
4. Card Transaction Disputes
Virtual card transactions (purchases made using your CardFi Visa/Mastercard) are processed by our card-issuing partner. For disputes related to merchant charges:
- Contact the merchant directly first for resolution
- If unresolved, raise a chargeback request via our support portal
- Chargeback resolution may take 30–90 days depending on card network rules
- Fraudulent chargeback requests will result in account suspension
5. Account Cancellation
You may request account closure at any time through your account settings or by contacting support. Upon closure:
- Any remaining USDT balance will be transferred to a wallet address you specify (minimum withdrawal limits apply)
- Active virtual cards will be deactivated immediately
- Account data will be retained for 7 years as required by financial regulations
- KYC documents will be securely archived per our data retention policy
6. Service Fee Policy
Platform fees (the 1% transaction fee) are non-refundable once a transaction has been processed. Fee schedules are published on our Fees page and are subject to change with 14 days notice.
7. Force Majeure
CardFi is not liable for any failure to process refunds caused by circumstances beyond our control, including blockchain network outages, regulatory actions, banking partner failures, or acts of nature.
